Divine Mercy Sunday

God offers his mercy in Christ all the time, but sometimes we need to feel it in particular ways. The image of Divine Mercy shows Christ in glory, with streams of light shining from his sacred heart through the lance wound in his side. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy not only asks for mercy, but calls us to declare out trust. In this time when it is so easy to be fearful, we not only ask for mercy, but declare, “Jesus, I trust in you.”
