Family time – Just So You Know

Our home in Florida is now a true hot-spot. That complicates life for a married priest. Valerie needs to stay there for George (my stepfather). So, with Bishop Johnston’s permission I take a week of family time every other month. That may mean that I will need to quarantine for two weeks when I return. I can work from the rectory just as many of you work from home. But Mass and other sacraments are another question. Deacon Dave and Deacon Paul (God bless them) are willing fill the gap with communion services instead of Mass. I’ll ask for guidance from Bishop Johnston.
