Reopening! Not so fast…

Just a few weeks ago, the most important consideration was how to express what we believe about our relationship with Christ in the Catholic Church. Of course, safety always has been important. Now, a virus is making us rethink everything. This week the bishops of Missouri have provided us with directions on how to apply the very best medical advice. Beginning the public celebration of Mass will only happen when crucial numbers of us are ready to put these practices into effect. It may very well be that we are not ready to start on the first possible weekend. Or that we will be able to have a congregation at every Mass on the schedule. It is going to take some getting-used-to.
