Liturgical Ministry
The celebration of Mass is the heart of what we do here at
St. Margaret's, but we can't celebrate Mass without Liturgical Ministers who fulfill vital roles in the celebration. There are opportunities for people of all ages.

Music Ministry
The music at St. Margaret's uses both traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs to create a vibrant Mass experience. Recently, we have also started our Wednesday Worship Services which focus on themes like Justice, Patience and Rejoicing!

There are many ways to get involved with the music ministry at St. Margaret's:
-
Cantors lead the congregational singing during liturgies. Musical background is necessary, along with leadership and singing ability.
-
Instrumentalists play with the music director, adding to the musical experience of the Mass. All instruments will be considered, but the overall musical ensemble will need to be considered.
-
There are two choirs at St. Margaret’s that parishioners can participate in.
-
Adult Choir - This group focuses on singing in harmony and their overall musicality. This group sings at one weekend of Masses a month as well as special occasions like Christmas and Easter.
-
Children’s Choir - This group focuses on singing pieces together while learning basic music terminology and how to sing in a group. This group is open to all children in Kindergarten and up.
-
NOTE: Choirs are suspended due to COVID-19.

Lenten Fish Fries
This is an annual event that takes place during six Fridays in Lent. They are a wonderful way to meet new people and enjoy a nice community dinner with options that change each week. Not your ordinary church dinner, you will be met at the door by our Maître D and seated at a table where a waiter will take your order and return with your hot meal. Our dessert table has such variety that would make anyone with a sweet-tooth smile.

It takes a massive amount of volunteers to make our fish fries a success, come join us and see what the fuss is all about.

Fish Fries are not taking place in 2021 due to COVID-19, but we look forward to their return in 2022.
Community Events
Our Parish Picnic is a great way to meet new people, have fun, and enjoy food prepared by parishioners. A chairperson organizes the picnic and the volunteers with the help of a co-chair. Check back in 2021 to see updates regarding our Parish Picnic.

Join us on Palm Sunday after 10:00 AM Mass for our Easter Egg Hunt!

Watch the July 4th Legacy Park Fireworks from our front lawn while enjoying some refreshments!

Help us Outpace Poverty by joining our team and participating in the annual Catholic Charities 5K!

Funeral Ministry
At St. Margaret's, funeral meals are provided to parish families after services. Volunteers are asked to provide food and be available to set up, serve, or clean up the meal.

NOTE: This ministry is currently suspended due to COVID-19.
