Alexis Bennett

Communications

Alexis and her family have been active members of St. Margaret’s since 2013. From the beginning, they felt welcomed by the St. Margaret’s community, which embraced their growing family as if they had been there all along. Always eager to serve the parish in any way possible, Alexis and her family first began as greeters, and her son, Jackson, has served as both an altar server and reader for many years.

As a graphic designer by trade, Alexis found joining the staff at St. Margaret’s to be a perfect fit. She loves sharing the beauty of St. Margaret’s with parishioners, the Lee’s Summit community, and beyond. As Communications Director, Alexis brings her passion for creative, beautiful design to the parish. She enjoys designing the website, bulletin, and e-blast, curating content for LS Catholic, and creating other outreach materials that help share the life of the parish with others.

In addition to her work at St. Margaret’s, Alexis homeschools the youngest of her three children; her two older children graduated in 2026. She loves finding God in nature and in people, and you can often find her hiking, traveling, or simply sitting outside with a book, or her computer.

Alexis looks forward to the big things happening at St. Margaret’s and is grateful to be part of sharing them with the community. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to serve the Church with her talents.
