Meet
Andrew Lynch
OCIA & Sacraments
Originally from Minnesota, where he served in Catholic parishes and schools in both the Archdiocese of St. Paul and the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, Andrew continued his work locally after moving to the Kansas City area in 2010. Andrew has extensive experience in both parish ministry and in Catholic education, serving through OCIA, adult education, sacramental coordination and catechesis, youth ministry, and classroom teaching.
Having studied Philosophy and History at Minnesota State before finishing graduate work in Theology from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, Andrew is now working on a Theology doctorate.
Andrew is married to his amazing wife, Shelly, with whom he enjoys three wonderful children: Eliana, David, and Lawrence. You might see them all at parish Masses on the weekends. When he's not busy with work, family, and school, Andrew is an avid reader, painter, and board game player/developer.
As a new member of the St. Margaret's staff, Andrew is excited to serve the parish and can't wait to meet parishioners through his efforts in parish ministry. While he'll have a keen eye on OCIA, Andrew looks forward to sharing his gifts and talents more broadly through the parish's liturgical and sacramental ministries.
