Deacon Paul was born in New York City, but his family moved to a town on Long Island called Wantagh. He went to Catholic Grammar School and Wantagh High School. After graduating from high school, he headed west to attend St. Joseph's College. He graduated with a BS in Business and a BA in Communications.

While attending St. Joseph's College, he met his wife, Pam, who also graduated from St. Joe's. They have been married for 53 years. Blessed with a daughter, Amanda, a son, Wade, and four grandchildren.

On June 6, 2009, Paul was ordained a Deacon for the Kansas City, St. Joseph Diocese. The Bishop assigned him to St. Margaret's. In March of 2021, the USCCB appointed him as Chaplain/Advisor for traveling carnivals in the USA.

He thanks God for his vocation and finds much joy in being the Deacon at St. Margaret's.
