Father Adam Haake
Pastor
Fr. Adam Haake is a native of Raytown, Missouri, and grew up with his three older brothers—Patrick, Rob, and Tim—and his younger sister, Katie. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph in 2012.

Before entering seminary, Fr. Haake's faith was profoundly shaped by the witness of his parents, Patrick and Mary, and by the example of his extended family. While attending Missouri State University in Springfield, he became active in Catholic Campus Ministry, where he discerned God's call to the priesthood.

His priestly formation took him first to Conception Seminary College in northwest Missouri and later to the Pontifical North American College in Rome, where he continued his studies while preparing for priestly ministry.

In addition to serving as pastor of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, Fr. Haake is co-chaplain of City on a Hill, a young adult apostolate serving the Kansas City area.

Fr. Haake's greatest joy as a priest is helping people encounter Jesus Christ and discover their place within the life of the Church. He especially enjoys listening to the stories of parishioners and visitors whose lives have been transformed by God's grace. When he has a free afternoon, you can often find him reading or meeting parishioners in one of Lee's Summit's local coffee shops over a good espresso.
